Tata's Star Platinum is an excellent grocery rewards card geared more toward high spenders. The annual fee is on the higher end (Rs. 2,999), but the card comes with a nice welcome gift (Rs. 3,500 Star voucher) and anniversary bonuses (up to Rs. 9,000 in vouchers, with at least Rs. 3,000 in vouchers if you spend Rs. 200,000 annually). You'll earn excellent 3% value back (3 points per Rs. 100 spent) on groceries (as well as department store) spend, plus 3.5% extra value back at Star.

Select other Tata outlets will earn you up to 5% rupee value back, and the card gives great value back on other retail spend of 1%, too. Last, you'll receive a nice perk of 8 free domestic airport lounge visits per year via the MasterCard program. High spenders who shop for groceries at Star should strongly consider this card.
